Jurisdiction
Dapoli Customs Division is basically a Preventive Division comprising of jurisdiction from Mahabaleshwar to Sangameshwar (inland) and from Bankot Port to Boria Port (along the coast). The jurisdiction extends over Mandangad, Dapoli, Khed, Chiplun, Guhagar and Sangameshwar Tahsils of Ratnagiri District and Wai and Mahabaleshwar Tahsils of Satara District.

1.1 Number of minor ports in the jurisdiction :
There are 6 (six) minor ports in the jurisdiction of Dapoli Customs Division these being Bankot, Kelshi, Harnai, Dabhol, Palshet & Boria.
1.2 Number of shore guard parties and their jurisdiction :
There are two Shore Guard Parties in Dapoli Customs Division as under :
I. Bankot Shore Guard Party having jurisdiction over areas of Bankot, Velas and Kelshi. Formation under Charge are Bankot Port Kelshi Port.
II. Guhagar Shore Guard Party having jurisdiction extending over entire Guhagar tehsil ie. area between south of Dabhol Creek to Norht of Jaigad Creek Formations under Charge are Guhager, Palshet Port Boria Port.
1.3 Road Checking Parties :
There are three Road Checking Parties in Dapoli Customs Division as under :
I. Chiplun Road Checking Party having jurisdiction over Chiplun Sangameshwar and khed tehsil Formation under charge of Chiplun and Khed.
II. Dapoli Road Checking Party having jurisdiction over Dapoli tehsil excluding area to north of Anjarle Creek. Jurisdiction includes road upto Wakwali and Dabhol Creek upto Unhaware. Formation under charge are Dabhol and Harnai.
III. Mandangad Raod Checking Party having jurisdiction over Mandangad Taluka upto Kelshi phata.
